Adelaida Antúnez Egurbide graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2019. From 2016 to 2018 she managed La Cera 13, an artist-run space in Raval, Barcelona, promoting experimental exhibition formats and supporting young artists, taking part in and organizing international artist residencies and exhibitions. She is currently taking part in the Associate Studio Programme, working and living in London, UK.

She thinks her practice focuses on film and sound(music) - something that shows in her collaborative project mousethings and in her diary grossygrossygross -. However,  she is not so sure yet (perhaps she is afraid of committing to a medium/theme.)

She is not the best at drawing but she does it anyway, for drawings are another way of keeping memories. At the moment she is obsessed with witches, mermaids, angels, devils, la luna y el sol, so that is what she draws.

When she is older, or if she ever grows younger, she would like to be Chavela Vargas, Leonora Carrington, Véra Chytilová, Kiki de Montparnasse, Antígona, Rosa Luxemburg, Peggy Guggenheim, Lisístrata and both of her (own) grandmothers.

She hopes to live a long life and she is currently afraid of flying (although she hasn't always been, so she's making peace with the birds).
